What is a Frequency?
A Frequency is the number of cycles of a wave passes a fixed point in a second. The units of frequency are thus cycles per second, or Hertz (Hz). Waves are just traveling energy, so the more energy in a wave, the higher its frequency. The lower the frequency is, the less energy in the wave.
Everything in the universe vibrates at its own unique frequency, including the human body. Bruce Tanio built the first frequency monitor in 1992, called the Calibrated Frequency Monitor. It has been used in many institutions including John Hopkins University to study frequency in relationship to the human body. Their findings are below.
